The Babenji's history in Ancient Egypt dates
back thousands of years, where even as
puppies, they were revered companions to
pharaohs. These lively pups, often depicted in
ancient hieroglyphics, were known for their
playful and intelligent nature.
Despite their
young age, Basenji puppies exhibited the same
keen hunting instincts as their adult
counterparts, making them valuable for their
ability to track and capture game in the Egyptian
desert.
